We are currently looking for Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers in the following locations:

Middlesbrough, Doncaster, Durham, Northumberland, Newcastle, Cumbria, Scarborough, Sunderland, Malton, Alnwick, North Yorkshire, Grimsby, Leeds, Sheffield, Halifax, Bradford, Hull, Burnley, York, Dewsbury, Accrington, Chesterfield, Huddersfield.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Proven experience as a Store Manager
- Manager with practical hands on experience in Inventory, Write Off control
- Productivity management
- A good track record of managing a team of people with the ability to motivate and encourage others
- Self-motivated with a positive approach to their work
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Able to maintain a high level of professionalism even when faced with challenging situations
- A natural leader who can lead, motivate and develop a team of people by example
- A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Possess a flexible attitude and adaptability
- Able to adapt to various shift patterns and react to unexpected situations in a controlled and sensible manner

THE ROLE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing the day-to-day running of a multimillion pound retail business unit.
- Management and control of store Key Cost
- Control Areas (Turnover, Write Offs, Inventory and Productivity)
- Optimising sales through following operating guidelines and reacting to sales fluctuations
- Making full use of promotional tools
- Adhering to the freshness procedure and careful stock rotation in order to provide quality products to our customers
- Ensuring good cash control and controlling of the administration
- Management of store staff rotas, staff sickness and holiday planning including staff working hours etc.
- Strategically planning for the future
- Motivating, training and developing new and existing store staff
- Implementing and maintaining store standards such as cleanliness and availability
- Following company procedures and ensuring compliance in all daily operations
