Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Corporate Banking Lawyer on behalf of our client, a well-known and established, regional firm of Solicitors. This role would suit a Solicitor with 5+ PQE (however this is just a guide and candidates with more or less experience may also be considered).
You will be responsible for handling your own caseload of banking transactions, working for a variety of clients ranging from small companies to high net worth individuals and large corporate companies.
Duties will include;
- Advising borrowers and lenders on the negotiation and/or renewal of various types of facilities
- Assisting with the negotiation of security and guarantee arrangements, bank facility financial covenant re-sets, the waiver of covenant breaches and amendments to lending documentation
- Working closely with the Corporate Department restructuring specialists to assist with reviews of bank facilities and securities
- Advising clients on intra-group loan documentation
As part of the role you will also be involved with marketing and business development activities.
