Job title: Spa & Leisure Manager
Salary: Up to 21,000 GBP
Location: Isle of Mull, Craignure
Type of contract: Permanent
Workplace description: Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, this hotel has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast. The main ferry terminal is just a few hundred yards away, with a shoreline path leading to the hotel. Most of the rooms at hotel have views of the scenic surroundings.
Main duties and responsibilities: . As Spa and Leisure Manager you will work hands on to oversee this important part of the Hotel business and work closely with the General Managers in achieving and exceeding targets, overall management and performance of this area ensuing high standards of professionalism, customer service and importantly optimising financial performance. You should be comfortable managing and leading the small team to ensure sales opportunities ae maximised and resources are well utilised reaching out to all possible client opportunities.
Newly we are working with Ishga products for our beauty treatments, these have been developed in the Hebrides using purest Scottish Seaweed and water from a natural spring on the Isle of Lewis, so it's a great time to join us in launching this superb product to our guests.
- To ensure quality of service, cleanliness and maintenance of the area in line with Standard and emergency operating procedures.
- To provide leadership, direction and support to the employees within the spa and leisure area to develop a highly-motivated team who can deliver.
- To delivery excellent customer service with a friendly yet professional approach.
- To prepare weekly and monthly financial statistical reports in line with requirements.
- To establish and maintain marketing objectives
- Diary and appointment management and other administrative duties
- Drive sales of treatments, memberships and retail products.
- Monthly stocktakes and ordering of products, supplies etc. in line with company purchasing policy
- Preparation of weekly rotas in line with business demands and company policies.
- Able to carry out spa and beauty treatments.
- Operate the department in line with Normal and Emergency Operating procedures.
- Fully aware of Health and Safety legislation for Spa and Leisure areas.
Essential criteria:
- Possess a friendly and polite manner
- Flexible approach to work and hours
- Team player with decision making initiatives.
- Professional and enthusiastic with a "can do " attitude
- Able to multi task
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Computer literate
- Upselling abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Spa/beauty treatments
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supervising or managing a small team.

Charge for accommodation: 42.00 GBP per week
