We are looking to source a Category Manager/ Supply Chain Manager for this industry leading organisation within the Health & Care environment. Our client provides services, equipment and devices to the health industry, and is considered the largest in its field in the UK.
You will be joining an organisation that takes great pride in its reputation and is dedicated to its products, innovation and independent guidance, and is committed to helping raise the standards of its industry across the country.
As Category Manager you will be leading projects to improve current processes and systems for Procurement and Sales. Specialising in Inventory management and full end to end supply chain processes.
You will be highly motivated with a proven track record of Category management. You will be a change agent able to demonstrate previous experience of process improvement across a cross functional team. With a highly developed communication style you will be able to interact internationally at all levels of the business. You will be well organised and possess excellent time management skills, demonstrate good attention to detail and be a confident decision maker.
Essentially, this role is responsible for sourcing healthcare products from 3rd party suppliers and then managing the supply chain process through to delivery to the end client.
Essential Experience Required:
- An understanding of Category Management
- Ideally, experience of sourcing healthcare products & devices
- Strong Administrative Skills
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects and daily tasks
- Strong Negotiation skills
- People Management
