My client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of construction and building materials , are looking to recruit a Logistics Manager to oversee manage compliance and operations across their London multi-haulier network.
The successful Logistics Manager will be working for an extremely well established company who have been leading light in their field. The company has always followed a policy of expansion and a new structure has resulted in the position coming available.
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for monitoring and developing the effectiveness of the logistics function at each of the group's partners. As Logistics Manager you will be required to visit the group's partner hauliers and fleet suppliers around the London. You will ensure roadworthiness standards of all vehicles and where necessary you will be responsible for managing relationships with partner hauliers and working with them to adhere to company transport budgets.
As the successful Logistics Manager you are likely to have significant experience in fleet management, managing a multi-partner haulier operation.
- Had exposure to budgets and financial controls;
- Exposure to a haulage environment preferably working within the Construction Industry;
- Able to manage performance;
- Have commercial knowledge of the haulage industry;
The following benefits package is available to the successful Logistics Manager :
- GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 Basic Salary
