Job Title: Logistics and Supply Chain Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: GBP50,000 to GBP55,000 PLUS Excellent Benefits including KPI and Company Bonus, 28 days holiday PLUS 8 Bank Holiday days, Pension, Health Care, Income Protection, Life Assurance etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful organisation in Milton Keynes where you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the logistic activities for the company ensuring that inventory levels are optimised, KPI targets are met, forecasting and provision of reagents are both accurate and timely, whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained through good communication, account management and on-time deliveries.
You will be responsible for managing all of the logistics staff - leading, coaching and appraising them.

The role will require a confident knowledgeable person with a clear focus on delivering results, be a good communicator enabling this person to network, present, build relationships and command a presence in all environments .The person fulfilling this role should be constantly looking to develop themselves, look for and embrace changes in the environment around them.

- Significant experience in Logistics management
- With a proven track record of people management and experience within a similar role, experience of logistics planning, scheduling and space management. Bringing a good understanding of best practice processes within supply chain and have a good eye for detail. Comfortable managing a budget and with a strong customer focus in your mind at all times, and able to easily build sustained relationships
- Have a proven track record in achievement and delivering change
- Possess strong influencing skills at Senior Manager level
- Have excellent ability to analyse quickly, dismissing distracting factors to determine issues / opportunities and define solutions
- As a Logistics Manager you will be someone that is focused on continuous improvement and can implement new processes and better ways of working
- Smart management of time and priority setting, goals and standard setting
- Effective & timely communicator
- Training, coaching and delegation
- Assessing risks and decision making
