Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Project Assistant for a leading Swindon organisation on a 12 month fixed term basis.

The Project Finance Team deliver operational project finance requirements to internal and external customers.

You will work closely with other Operations Teams to provide support and knowledge to deliver a successful integrated business process from design to project completion.

Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the operational aspects of project financial reviews.

Manage and deliver the financial review of project information in a fast-paced change environment including:

- Any required first level scrutiny of financial and supporting information
- Financial viability review
- Financial eligibility review of detailed project information in application documents, associated appendices and finance forms
- Work with other teams to integrate the results of participant project financial reviews with other requirements and processes
- During the life of a project support and give advice on project changes and issues
- Contribute to and deliver process improvements

AAT/part AAT qualification would be beneficial or strong QBE

- Hands on experience of working within a fast-paced, process driven, service orientated.
- Confident/articulate and ability to manage workload/priorities
- Financial management and analytical review experience with focus on quality and attention to detail balanced with cost-effectiveness.
- Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven team working capabilities
- Self-organisation skills and a demonstrable ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
- Strong presentation skills and an engaging manner
- Exceptional communication (both written and oral) skills, the ability or produce clear, concise and accurate presentations and written documents
- IT literate, including managing data and maintaining audit trails and data integrity
- A resilient approach and developed negotiation skills
- Ability to manage often conflicting demands of multiple stakeholders whilst protecting the integrity and ownership of the documented processes
- The ability to respond calmly under pressure and to make impartial and well-considered judgements in complex situations as and when required
- Solution focused, with the ability to thrive in agile / changing environment

This is a Swindon based, 12 month Fixed Term role paying up form GBP26 - GBP30k
