Ecommerce Image Retoucher
As an E-commerce Image Retoucher you will work within the Marketing team and in close liaison with the Retail and Product Merchandisers for each designated sector. You will contribute to pre and post production product imagery to a high caliber. This involves working closely with suppliers and internal teams to provide outstanding quality product images.
Role and Responsibilities
*Supporting Head of Marketing to provide product briefs for new and existing products within our huge portfolio of products.
*Develop a relationship with external CGI & Photography suppliers - ensuring we are maximising time efficiencies, providing feedback and supporting workflow through these suppliers.
*Retouching a high volume of digital product imagery in line with top level objectives of the company
*Performing basic adjustments to images including exposure, colour correction , sharpening and cropping etc
*Contacting suppliers for product, lifestyle and logo imagery
*Accurately labelling images with correct file names to match product
*Uploading product images onto the website
*Organising and maintaining an image library
*Liaising with photographers/CGI providers to create top quality images in a timely manner
*Performing basic on page search engine optimisation through standard best practice
*Working closely on visual display with relevant parties to decide how products should be displayed to maximise sales
Skills
*Keen eye for interior trends and photography is really advantageous.
*Sound decision making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
*The capability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
*Expected 1 -2 years previous experience in a similar role in an e-commerce environment would be advantageous.
Technical Requirements
*Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Photoshop including re-touching, clipping paths and colour corrections.
Salary
GBP20,000 - GBP25,000
