Sheridan Blake Executive Search are a specialist recruitment business working with a very successful privately owned agricultural machinery dealer. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional, preferably with previous management experience and technical knowledge gained within the agricultural/horticultural industry, to manage a team of Service Technicians to carry out the role of Service Manager.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing departmental performance in line with financial budget objectives. They will have excellent communication skills, lead by example and require high standards of performance from their team. Providing excellent customer service and developing new customer relationships will be of paramount importance.
Although desired, previous experience in the agricultural industry is not essential, as product/systems training will be provided but competence in Microsoft Office is essential. The opportunity to work towards an ILM qualification is also available.
A full driving licence is essential for this post as is a flexible approach to working hours.
A competitive salary plus performance related bonuses, contributory company pension scheme and company sick pay scheme is offered together with the use of a company vehicle.
