Our client is an expanding manufacturer in the Automotive industry.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to perform maternity cover for 9 to 12 months.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Assist Accounts Department providing administrative support and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide assistance to the Accounts Manager with purchase ledger and credit control. Administer Company's nominal ledger.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide assistance to Accounts Administrator with the Sales and Purchase ledgers and credit control, inputting and filing.
-Maintain the control of Petty Cash, reconcile monthly to a nominal ledger.
-Assist Accounts Manager as and when required.
-Ad hoc projects as and when required.
-Understand and operate the ERP and associated systems by which the company is managed including maintenance of price lists and stock.
-Maintain absence records for all employees in line with current legislation and Company policies. Monitor and maintain absentee records.
-Administration of personnel holiday database.
-Preparation of Intrastat and EC Sales Listings, ensuring returns are made within the deadlines set by the Government.
-Assist Accounts Manager with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
-Assisting with annual stock takes.
-Assisting with maintenance of costing system.
-Assisting with preparation of financial year end accounting information.
-Perform and administer Purchase Invoice matching.
-To provide cover for Purchase Ledger and Credit Control.
-Organise work so that it is done efficiently.
-Achieve productivity standards at an acceptable performance.
-Continually strive to improve and simplify procedures and systems.
-Develop skills specific to the work and apply those skills.
-Work in a tidy and safe manner in order to satisfy Health and Safety Legislation and avoid accident or injury to people, machinery or property.
-Wear safety equipment as specified by the Company rules.
-Such other duties as may be reasonably required within your capability consistent with the Terms & Conditions of your employment.
-Participate in good house keeping.
