Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a Tax & Wills Advisor for a well established law firm based in Poole.
Reporting to a Partner, you will have two support staff and have responsibility for providing advice and support to clients for Wills, Probate, Estate work, Trusts, Taxation and Court of Protection work. This would specifically include preparing correspondence and documents through dictation software, drafting wills, making applications for Court of Protection/General affairs, administration of the financial affairs of people who are subject of deputyship orders and persons on behalf of Attorneys, administration of estate work including taxable and non taxable estates, estates with foreign elements, etc. In addition, you would administer trust work including setting up property protections trusts, management of personal injury trusts, will trusts and inter-vivos trusts, advising on IHT and CGT planning and dealing with tax returns for trusts and individuals.
You will need to have significant experience in Probate including trusts, estates, Court of Protection and taxation experience. You will ideally be CTA and STEP qualified/studying or are able to demonstrate the required knowledge. Specialist software e.g. Professional Wills, Bighand or similar, together with the ability to use Excel and Word are essential. An excellent working environment and package to include competitive salary, 35 hour week, 25 days holiday and pension.
