Assistant HV Project Manager (New Connections)
Calco Services has an exciting opportunity available for someone with a background in electrical installation, either low voltage (LV) or, ideally, high voltage (HV) to join the country's greatest Independent Connections Provider (ICP). Established for over ten years, they are recognised throughout the industry for their outstanding quality of work, customer satisfaction and employee happiness.They design and build new connections to the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) at voltage levels of 11kV and 33kV, for projects in a number of areas including the residential, industrial and commercial sectors.
As Assistant HV Project Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for the delivery of new connections, duties will include:
- Managing new connections projects, covering HV installation and construction activities
- Ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget
- Financial control of projects
- Health & Safety
- Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Liaise with Highways Agency, Local Authority and Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
- Management of contractors and materials
Requirements:
- Experience working on HV projects (11kV / 33kV) as a Site Supervisor or Site Agent, ideally from an installation perspective (switchgear, transformers, substations, ICP, DNO, private networks)
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Driving licence
- Willingness to travel across the region for projects
