Project Manager (CCTV/ANPR)
Project Manager for Intelligent Transport Systems based in the Nottingham area covering the East Midlands paying cGBP40,000 - GBP45,000 (plus excellent company benefits, car allowance and bonuses)
The Opportunity: The Project Manager will report to the Head of Projects and will be responsible for the delivery of permanent contracts to our client's customers and will encompass aspects of planning, customer liaison, staff management, equipment procurement, engineering, testing supervision and cost control. The product portfolio includes comprehensive systems for all aspects of road traffic, such as speed and red-light monitoring systems as well as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products and systems for detecting traffic violations.
The role will require one or two days a week attendance at the Wokingham office, time on customer sites and at the roadside working with Engineers. It will also require UK wide and overseas travel on occasion, staying away and in some cases working unsociable hours.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable Knowledge of Intelligent Transport Systems and ANPR products
- Health and Safety training and accreditations would be very useful
- Experience in preparing customer and internal documentation
- Evidence of continuing professional development through training, qualifications and achievements
- A current PRINCE 2 Certificate
- Current UK Driving Licence and UK Passport
Role and Responsibilities:
- Equipment installation planning and management
- Proven track record of establishing good working relationships with customers and other professionals
- Equipment procurement
- Task scheduling
- Equipment testing
- Roadside equipment installation
- Installation and configuration of computer operating systems and applications
- Experience of working under a Quality and Environmental Management System
- Good understanding of Construction design management (CDM) and of Health and Safety and its application to Highways environments
