Exciting Opportunity for an Operations Manager
The Company is a leading supplier of plant equipment in the construction industry. They are recognised for delivering great service and innovative technology to their customers across the UK and Europe.
This growing company is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our busy team. We are looking for someone to manage, coordinate and lead strategy of the operations function, ensuring an efficient and effective service across the company
Day to Day Tasks
- To manage all operational aspects at a high level of quality, and identify and implement operational efficiencies
- Ensure the delivery of service meets customers' expectations.
- Maintain and enhance operating systems / procedures / processes to ensure continuous improvement
- Communication of issues / information to Senior Management
- Ensure alongside the Group HSQE Manager that all requirement related to HSQE are being fully implemented across the business
- To analyse errors and customer feedback, to provide resolution or recommendation for improvement
- To coordinate construction of new 100,000 sqft building and then coordinating moving the operation to the new building.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience within an engineering / lifting organisation
- Project Management Qualification
- Experienced in implementing and maintaining LEAN / Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Understanding of HSQE
- Communication Skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Organisation Skills
- Good analytical and problem skills
- Ability to develop and implement new ideas
- Engineering experience
- Experience of Commercial building projects
Your working hours will be Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm
