On behalf of our client, I am seeking an experienced Project and Resource Scheduler to join their organisation based in Glasgow.

Applicants will ideally be skilled in Primavera and or MS Projects.

Main purpose of job

Consolidate project schedule and resource plan for all projects within the package build pre-contract to cash process. Ensure efficient and effective use of resources to support achieving delivering products on time to their clients with added value for their Company.
Accountabilities
Develop strong cross functional relationships to support successful delivery of all projects.
Develop and sustain accurate integrated project planning and forecasting of resources, both internal and external, for all projects to ensure successful delivery of high value, customer engineered projects.
Identify resource issues from pre-contract to cash for all packaging projects and interface with all project managers and resource managers to provide solutions.
Support forecasting cost and cash targets, ensure risks and issues are identified and actively managed to ensure the successful delivery of current and future projects.
Identify and implement improvements to processes to reduce lead-time, working capital and achieve OTD and quality objectives.
Ensure adherence to company environmental, health and safety standards in compliance with company policies to ensure a safe working environment and the minimisation of environmental impact.
Monitor and report on KPI's in area of responsibility and review actions and workflow accordingly.

Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours

Excellent planning and scheduling knowledge and skills
Skilled in the use of scheduling tools/ software, i.e. primavera, MS project
Proactive identification and mitigation of scheduling issues and risks
Committed to achieving deadlines without compromising quality and cost
Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
An excellent and clear communication and reporting skills at all levels
Customer and business focused Strong leadership, teambuilding and coaching skills

Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours

Qualified in a relevant project management / engineering discipline
Knowledge of high value, customer engineered project company processes
Knowledge of commercial terms and condition
Demonstrable skills in delivering process improvements
Recruitment of roles as required

Travel
Expected to travel to other locations - up to 25%
