Commissioning Engineer required to join a well-established and successful Systems House and Control Panel Manufacturer.

Company Profile

Our client is one of the leading control panel manufacturers in the UK. A growing supplier of BMS installation and maintenance solutions, this is a well established family owned company. The company currently uses equipment from Schneider Electric (Vista/Menta/Struxureware), Priva and Cylon in the design and production of HVAC control panels, heating, ventilation and air conditioning control systems, ensuring that the client receives only the very best.

Their business philosophy revolves around ensuring their engineers are of the highest calibre through consistent and regular industry recognised training. They take pride in their knowledgeable and approachable engineers providing the highest level of service.

Role Profile
The successful applicant for this Commissioning Engineer role will need to demonstrate exceptional understanding of BMS and HVAC engineering principles. In particular they will have good knowledge of Priva and Schneider Electric systems and be able to write software on at least one of these platforms from scratch. Additional knowledge in Cylon systems would be highly advantageous. This role will involve working both independently and as part of a larger team on BMS projects of various values across the UK, with the majority of work in East Anglia and the Home Counties.

Key Skills

  • Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (minimum HNC/ONC or equivalent)
  • Experienced in the service of Building Management Systems
  • Qualified with Priva BMS software and/or qualified and experienced with Schneider Electric range of Building Management products
  • Additional knowledge of Cylon systems is beneficial
  • Able to create BMS software and graphics
  • Able to commission newly installed control panels/BMS systems including demonstrations and hand overs to the end client
  • Able to carry out site panel modifications
  • Exceptional understanding of integration protocols
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • CSCS registered
