SEN Teaching Assistant

This role will be to start in September on a long term and ongoing basis, it has arisen due a pupil needing 1:1 support, the pupil has been diagnosed with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Experience of working within a similar role is essential.

This is for a "good" mainstream Primary school in the Wells area, the school has free on site parking and is a forward thinking, modern school at the heart of the community where each child is encouraged to achieve their full individual potential.

The Successful Candidate will:

* Have experience of working in a primary school.
* Have experience in dealing with difficult behaviour.
* Be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning for all.
* Be motivated, positive and dynamic.
* Have excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

* Your role will consist of working with a child with Autism and behaviour difficulties to further their development and understanding of the National Curriculum.
* Liaising with the class teachers, SENCO and parents.
