Sales Manager

This company is a major supplier and solutions provider within the Engineering Sector specialising in Fluid Handling Solutions. The Company operates across all markets and territories and is looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to assist in delivering the Company goals.

The Role and Key Responsibilities

The role will require hands on management of the Proactive Internal Sales Team and a supportive collaborative working style with other departments.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Delivery of the Company's Sales Budgets through effective planning, communication and sales
- Develop and nurture new prospects and relationships to assist in the long term growth of the Company and the expansion of the Company's presence across all industrial markets and with over 45% of revenue generated outside of the UK
- Develop sales strategies to achieve long term growth plans of the Company
- Define and set priorities for Proactive Internal Sales Team
- Motivate, train and develop Proactive Internal Sales Team
- Increase sales to existing customers & existing customer segments
- Develop product ranges
- Increase sales margins
- Implement sales price growth

The Candidate

Must have:
- Managed a technical sales team
- Experience selling through multiple channels including Resellers, OEM and End Users
- Experience in selling technical products, Pumps, Valves & Fittings would be an advantage
- Experience of online selling and knowledge of SEO
- Experience of using CRM to deliver sales activities and competent skills with Excel
- Setting and working to budgets
- Able to work in the UK
- Able to travel within Europe without visa restrictions
- Good standard of secondary and further education
- Fluent English language written & spoken
- Full current driving licence

May have:
- Experience of SEO best practice
- Experience of mechanical engineering
- Bachelors degree in a STEM subject
- Fluent in second European language
- Lives or prepared to relocate to within 45 minutes of Didcot
