The company is currently looking for a 2nd Line Analyst who will help share the responsibility of the day to day operation of the IT service desk's second tier queries for the business.
You will be available for supporting the service desk phone line answering any 2nd line queries and also be able to travel to their sites across the UK to support with any technical assistance to their employees.
The Key responsibilities of the role are:
- To ensure the successful resolution and fulfilment of requests through to the IT service desk
- To help resolve any walk-in queries received from employees based on site
- To help reduce the impact of service, ensuring an appropriate and timely response to all reported issues
- To travel to sites as and when needed across the UK to support with technical issues.
- To facilitate and run their "Tech Stops" at the site so employees can drop in with any IT queries.
To be successful in the role you will need:
- ITIL Practitioner or Foundation certified
- One or more professional qualification from leading solution providers (Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix etc)
- Experience in a similar role providing IT support to employees
- Demonstrable understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework and appreciation of the complimentary quality standard ISO/IEC 20000
- Excellent communication skills - be able to explain a technical problem to a non-technical person
