Job Title: Corporate Resourcer

Location: Midlands or Newmarket (Travel required)

Salary: Competitive

The Corporate Resourcer will partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving resourcing needs of the Group and plan, develop and implement recruiting strategies. The position will nurture relationships with prospective candidates and manage on-going manager relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage full cycle recruiting process to fill job openings using cost-effective recruiting strategies (e.g. effective advertising, CV database, social media campaigns, radio/tv campaigns, open days, working closely with training providers and colleges).
  • Become a champion of the business as the first point of contact for the company.
  • Work with recruiting managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Work closely with the business, produce a long term recruitment strategy that will complement the business, working with HR Department to identify trends in retention and benchmark the competition on salary/benefits.
  • To actively seek and access external grants, sponsorship and funding opportunities to support our training and development.
  • Regularly follow up with the respective recruiting managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports for Senior Management Team (SMT) and board.
  • Coordinate job offers and liaise with HR Admin to prepare contracts of employment.
  • Build a pipeline of candidates and maintain relationships with qualified candidates and contacts.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with recruiting managers, business leaders and the wider HR team to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
  • Work closely with the internal resourcing team on projects as the company requires.
  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
  • Maintain career opportunities section on the website.
  • Line manager to Recruitment Assistant who will provide all necessary administration report during the candidate life cycle, including tracking candidates to ensure that all applicants are responded to in a timely manner, invite to interviews are sent in advance with application form, candidates are clear on items to bring to the interview (e.g. application form, qualifications and eligibility to work in the UK), regret emails are sent to those unsuccessful, talent bank of candidate is maintained
  • Travel where necessary to regional offices to attend interviews and meetings as required.
  • Other resourcing related duties as assigned by the HR Business Partner.

Person Specification:

  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Knowledge of external grants, sponsorships and funding for training
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Highly level organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1 year experience of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to Corporate staff
  • Previous experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Experience of using LinkedIn and other social media tools to source suitable candidates
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office with strong administrative skills
  • Grade C or above in GCSE English Language and Mathematics or equivalent qualification
  • Appropriate qualification in recruitment and selection
  • Full Driving License
