Who we are PwC Augment supports many of the firm's leading clients, largely within the banking and financial services sector, on a wide range of challenging projects. Our clients are typically large banks, asset managers and hedge funds, while the projects include compliance and regulatory change, finance/operational transformations, redress & remediation, restructuring, research and acquisitions & mergers.The business has grown rapidly since its launch in January 2014, and we currently have a team of 200 analysts working on a large number of exciting assignments. About the roleTo help support our clients with their plans, we are looking for analysts from, Finance/Business, Legal/Compliance or Project Management backgrounds.Your specific responsibilities will vary depending on your experience/skillset, and also the nature of the individual projects on which you will work, but may include: Finance * Gathering/collation of financial information* Preparing reports and presentations* Financial analysis & calculations, using various software tools and packages* Inputting financial information onto spreadsheets/databases* Quality-checking information and identifying anomalies* Research - collating and preparing reports for clients Legal & Compliance * Regulatory remediation and quality compliance testing* Case, contract and documentation review - analysing documents to identify key facts, anomalies, etc.* Reporting - detailed and summary analysis* Financial complaint handling and customer redress* Data input of key information into spreadsheets and or proprietary systems* Document collation, evidencing paper trail of transactions* Quality Assurance Project Management* Support project management offices (PMOs)* Monitor work efforts and report progress* Document all project-related assignments, issues and risks* Create reports and presentations using a variety of office productivity tools* Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions. As projects are typically carried out on client sites, candidates must be flexible and prepared to work from international locations for the duration of client project. Requirements Qualifications* Ideally 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Legal/Compliance, Technology-related degrees or similar)* Candidates with 2:2 degrees, but who have relevant experience and/or qualifications, will be considered* Any other relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous Experience* While candidates would ideally possess relevant work experience in a corporate environment, this is not essential. We are happy to see applications from strong graduate candidates.
