Operations Analyst

Support of all operational functions of the Common Report Standards (CRS) initiative.
- Assisting business units to ensure clients are compliant with CRS.
- Controller for CRS functions owned by an offshore vendor.
- Co-ordinating compliance of Morgan Stanley entities for CRS.
- Arranging tax treatment of firm accounts held with agent banks.
- Timely submission of tax documentation to custodians/tax authorities to ensure Morgan Stanley obtains withholding tax relief at source on firm positions where possible to optimise firm cashflows.
- Communicating with tax authorities and internal legal/tax teams regarding documentation requests

- High level Microsoft Office proficiency.

Skills desired
Basic awareness of relevant tax concepts such as CRS, tax treaty rates and withholding tax.
Basic awareness of the dividend / corporate action process
