They now have an exciting opportunity available for an Area Customer Care Manager to join their West Midlands region, managing the customer care operation in your area and delivering our Clients promise as identified in the Customer Care Charter.

Visiting customers and assessing works required, you will conduct quarterly quality audits on each site and carry out final inspection visits on build completions; liaising with Site Managers to identify priorities and confirm quality standards. Ensuring that all reported defects are dealt with in a cost effective, timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of the purchaser, you must correctly log all works and maintain a positive relationship with purchasers at all times; raising any major issues with the Regional Customer Care Director or Manager immediately.

You must also ensure that all NHBC resolutions are escalated and communicated appropriately and that you provide support with regards to the recruitment and induction of new employees where required.

A hands-on role, candidates should have exceptional customer facing skills and previous experience of working as a Customer Care Technician, Site Manager or similar role. With a detailed understanding of NHBC customer handover requirements, you must have strong planning and organisational skills and a polite, yet tactful and assertive attitude when faced with complaints and difficult situations. A valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence are essential for this role.
