MiFID II Compliance Officer
Key experience will include but not be limited to
- Liaise with the front Office and support functions to help on the MiFID II project to cover compliance tasks such as documenting decisions and policies and procedures.
- Attend MiFID II work stream meetings and give advice on the interpretation of MiFID II regulations.
- Read the EU and UK regulations on MiFID II and prepare summaries to be presented to management for Steering Committee meetings.
- Liaise with the EMEA Region Local Compliance Officers in order to implement MiFID II in a harmonised approach
Key experience will include
- Strong background in FS/Banking within a Compliance function and an in-depth knowledge of MiFID and FCA rules and regulations is essential
- Proven experience in writing policies and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Good reporting and presentation skills
- Self motivated and strong analytical skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office and have advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of Visio
- Proven ability to write gap analysis and Business Requirement Documentation
The client is willing to pay up to GBP550 as a daily pay rate depending on the level of candidate experience.
