We are looking for a reliable and motivated Deputy Care Manager to join our professional team at our service in Kings Norton, Birmingham. This opportunity is to work 37.5 hours per week (full time) on a permanent basis.

As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning and staff management/development.

You must be willing to work towards BSL level one (or equivalent), or be working towards an accredited award. In addition Deputies within an education setting are also required to hold the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong learning Sector (PTLLS) or the Level 3 award in Education and Training and Learning in Skills, or a relevant professional teaching qualification.
