A Bolton primary school are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 4 class. The job consists of supporting children who are working below National Curriculum expected levels for age in Maths and Literacy. You will also be required to deliver guided reading sessions and interventions in the core subjects.

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Have the ability to use iniative and be flexible.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals and small groups with their classwork under the direction of the class teacher.
• Reporting and feeding back to the class teacher on children's performance.
• Assisting with preparation of lesson resources.
