Bydd deiliad y swydd yn darparu gwasanaeth ymgynghori AD proffesiynol i reolwyr, gan gefnogi’r gwaith o ddatblygu arferion rheoli cyson ar draws holl feysydd y Coleg, ymgynghori rheolwyr ar faterion cysylltiedig â pherfformiad, rheoli newid, adnoddau, ac absenoldeb salwch. Bydd y rôl hefyd yn cynorthwyo gyda’r gwaith o ddatblygu ac adolygu polisïau AD a hyfforddiant rheoli. 

 

Bydd gan yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus record dda o weithio mewn rôl AD gyffredinol, mewn sector gwasanaeth neu seiliedig ar wybodaeth ac, yn ddelfrydol, byddwch wedi gweithio mewn amgylchedd hyfforddi masnachol. Rhaid i ymgeiswyr fod yn aelodau o’r Sefydliad Siartredig Personél a Datblygu gyda gradd berthnasol neu brofiad cyfatebol.  Rhaid i ymgeiswyr fod yn chwaraewyr tîm hyblyg gyda phrofiad o, a phersonoliaeth wydn ar gyfer rheoli llwyth achosion AD prysur. Bydd gennych yr wybodaeth ddiweddaraf am y gyfraith gyflogaeth ac arferion gorau, a sgiliau gwneud penderfyniadau a chyfathrebu ardderchog. Dylai’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus feddu ar sgiliau canolradd yn yr Iaith Gymraeg.

Gower College Swansea has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated HR Professional to join an innovative and award winning HR team. This role is pivotal in supporting Managers and staff in implementing the College’s HR Strategy and striving to fulfil the College’s Vision “To be the best choice for learners”.  

Gower College Swansea is a large diverse and ambitious FE College located across five campuses, with a workforce of over 800 highly qualified and dedicated staff.  It’s an exciting time to join our College, as we are poised to take advantage of many opportunities to expand and grow our HE provision, our new Construction facility, and a wide range of Apprenticeships, Employer Training and our International reach.

The post holder will provide a professional HR advisory service to managers, supporting the development of consistent management practice across all areas of the College, advising managers on issues relating to performance, change management, resourcing, and sickness absence.   The role will also assist with the development and review of HR policies and management training. 

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a generalist HR role, in a service or knowledge based sector ideally having worked in a commercial training environment.  Applicants must be members of the CIPD with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.  Applicants must be flexible team players with experience of and resilience in managing a busy HR caseload.  You will have up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice, with excellent communication and decision making skills.  The successful candidate should have intermediate Welsh Language skills.
