Senior Finance Assistant

Senior Finance Assistant

Required to provide additional support within the existing finance team, directly reporting to the Financial Controller. Responsible for processing efficient and accurate information as well as support to deliver monthly accounts and operational requirements.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need:

• At least 3 years proven experience in accounts
• Experience in accounts in a service industry
• Minimum qualified to AAT Technician level or equivalent

Key duties will include:

• Assistance in preparing monthly management accounts;
• Assistance with forecast information;
• Balance sheet reconciliations;
• Assistance in budget preparations;
• Statutory returns.

Candidates must have a thorough understanding and experience of all accounting principles and ideally have Navision experience. Excellent proven written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office packages are a must.

The business is looking for an excellent communicator, with the ability to work on their own initiative, have a strong attention to detail with a desire to progress.

As a global business, accountancy experience within international trading is preferred.

The role will be based at LDD offices in Tolvaddon, Cornwall.
