Stoke on Trent College have been successful in their bid to deliver a £2.5 million ESF funded Skills Support and Retraining Project. The project is designed to address the skills challenges which exist across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire and will be delivered by a group of training providers under the central management of Stoke on Trent College.
In order to respond to the delivery, demand we have opportunities available in the following areas:
Engineering:
- Wood Machining
- Welding
- Smart Repairs
- Milling/Lathe Machines
ICT
Leadership & Management
Education
Health & Social Care
Hours are available on a part time, casual basis initially although dependent upon demand more substantial and regular hours may be available. You will initially join our ‘bank' of available teaching and/or assessing staff.
To be successful you will require:
- For teaching roles - A teaching qualification, e.g., CTLLS (CET), Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS (DET)
- Assessing roles - Assessor qualifications e.g., A1 and V1 or TAQA or a firm commitment to obtain relevant assessor qualifications.
- Specialist skills, knowledge and qualifications in your relevant discipline.
