We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our client's thriving manufacturing business in Taunton, Somerset. The RoleThe Sales & Marketing Administrator will provide an excellent administrative and support service to the Head of Sales & Marketing, Machine Sales Team and the Marketing team to ensure the smooth running and co-ordination of the department.If you are the type of person that thrives in a busy environment and relishes working on something a little different every day, this could well be the job for you. As the Sales & Marketing Administrator in this progressive company, you can expect to be the center of attention where your key skills are always in demand. You will be at the center of all sales enquiries, involved in creating quotes, managing orders and in organizing events.Key responsibilities as Sales & Marketing Administrator:* Managing the enquiry platform* Generate quotations for large complex machines * Manage the order process* Support the Sales & Marketing function* Preparing internal activity, sales and marketing reports* Assist with mail shots, email or telephone marketing campaigns* Add value to relationships with existing and nominated accounts through regular contact and communication, ensuring sales are maximised.The PersonFor the role of Sales & Marketing Administrator, you'll have worked in a sales environment and able to demonstrate a track record in delivering successful sales administrative support in a team environment. In this position you will play a key role within the business, and will be responsible for supporting the international sales team.Essentially, you'll be a well organised person and have outstanding time management skills. You will have proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and keen to join a close knit team and get stuck in. You'll also enjoy dealing with customers. Essential Skills required* A good level of education achieved - minimum of 5 GCSE's including EnglIsh & Maths * Has worked in a sales environment, possessing telephone sales experience* A strong understanding of customer and marketing requirements * An adaptable and forward thinking personality * Excellent planning and organisational skills * Exceptional communication and customer service skills * Computer literacy - excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Salary Package Salary ranges from ??17-19k and is entirely dependent on experience, Company Pension Scheme, with working hours being Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm.
