Technical Field Sales
??20,000 - ??25,000 + Commission

Due to the strategic growth of their business, my client is looking to recruit a Technical Field Sales Executive who will be responsible for the sale of pharmaceutical machinery for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) throughout their network in the UK and Ireland.
In order to be successful in this role, the Technical Field Sales Executive will need to have previous experience selling machinery, ideally pharmaceutical, but other industries will be considered i.e. FMCG, Chemical, and Industrial.
The role will involve travel within the UK and Ireland as well as occasional international travel to the OEM's sites in Germany, Italy, Spain and India. Therefore, as the Technical Field Sales Executive you must be willing to travel and have a valid in date passport and driving licence.
As the Technical Field Sales Executive, you will be the single point of contact between my client, and the manufacturer. You will therefore require the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Proactive lead generation
- Providing sound technical advice to potential customers - you must therefore have a good grasp on technical / mechanical requirements (training will be provided by the OEM)
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
The successful Technical Field Sales Executive will, as well as ideally having previous sales experience, be a highly self-motivated person who is able to organise themselves, have strong negotiation skills and hold the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
This role comes with a basic salary of between ??20,000 - ??25,000 per annum, plus a commission of 2.5% on business bought in by you. A car will also be provided by the company
