BI Data Architect Gloucestershire ??500 per day 6 Month Contract Client Details I am looking for a talented BI Data Architect based with an IT team in Gloucestershire Description Purpose of an BI Data Architect Responsible for meeting with the business to elicit and document detailed business requirements, completing necessary analysis of data and delivering the functional design for new business intelligence solutions and development enhancements on the Mortgage & Savings Data Warehouse.The Data Architect will work collaboratively with the others colleagues in the data warehousing team, and would ideally have the ability to work across all stages of the development life-cycle when required.Profile Key Accountabilities - To perform source data analysis and profiling - To produce and maintain the logical BI data warehouse data models - To produce functional specifications detailing the transportation and manipulation of data from source to target - To deliver to agreed deadlines, quality and cost criteria with modest guidance and supervision, ensuring that risks and issues are effectively managed.- To ensure appropriate Data Governance controls are followed for all solutions What I'm looking for: - Proven record in data analysis, including being able to query data using SQL - Proven knowledge of data modelling (relational & dimensional modelling) - Good knowledge of the full development project life-cycle and methodologies.- Good knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence tools and technologies.- Preferably some PL/SQL knowledge Job Offer If you would like to find out more about this role please call John Carroll at Michael Page on.
