LED Lighting Key Account Manager required - (UK South)

PhotonStar LED Group plc is a leading British designer and manufacturer of intelligent lighting solutions with a respected reputation worldwide. We are committed to UK manufacture with facilities based in Wales and Hampshire.
Due to our continued growth and expansion we are seeking an efficient key account manager focused on high efficiency and circadian interior lighting systems to join our Business Development team within the PhotonStar Lighting business.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the successful applicant will commercially and technically support specifiers, contractors and facilities managers in using our market leading LED products in their projects. This will include unique solutions in the growing field of circadian and human centric lighting. The role will be as part of a team covering the south of the UK (including London) and as such will involve essential business travel approximately 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will be expected to rapidly develop their knowledge of circadian/human centric and dynamic lighting with the help of experts within PhotonStar.
LED Lighting Key Account Manager - Roles and Key Responsibilities
• Acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
• Presenting the products and securing projects.
• Generating a pipeline of projects and managing them from conception to handover.
• Updating projects on a weekly basis.
• Recording all data and communication on the company tracking software and CRM.
• Communicating the company brand message at face-to-face meetings, over the telephone or at exhibitions.
• Working closely with the customer care and technical departments to ensure the smooth running of projects.
• Meeting revenue targets and attending quarterly sales meetings.
LED Lighting Key Account Manager - Required Skills
• A proven track record in lighting sales OR a background in electrical engineering or lighting design
• A dynamic, driven and self-motivated attitude.
• The ability to manage your own schedule and meet challenging targets.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good customer facing and telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel – producing reports and tables.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license.
Hours and Location:
40 Hours a week (usually Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends)
Travelling role based out of the Romsey head office.
Salary: OTE 50K – uncapped commission, car allowance and benefits package.
