We require a Sales & Events Manager.

Working hours: Full time

Rate: £25k -  £30K per annum (depending on experience) plus commission

Job Type: Permanent

Business Development Manager responsible for sales & events required for Manchester restaurant/ bar/club. This is a very exciting and challenging role. Perfect for a sociable person with a passion for sales & events!

Required experience:

  • Hospitality Sales
  • CRM Management
  • Events experience

Roles & responsibilities

Establish key relationships with corporate clients and the local business community to promote and sell spaces.

Identify business leads and sales opportunities by pro-actively driving awareness of the venues through developing relationships.

Attend external networking events and work with the marketing to to promote the spaces via all appropriate social media channels. 

Forge relationships with venue finder agencies and event companies and manage venue hire specific listings.

Manage efficient responses to all incoming enquiries, converting to sales and maximizing revenue.

Be aware of key trends in the market.

Know the product and ensure a high level of hospitality service standards. 

Manage delivery of all event handovers to operational staff with a keen eye for detail and high level of professionalism.

Ensure all enquiries are tracked efficiently and ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported in a timely manner.

Become an integral member of the team understanding the operation of the the venue.

Commit to the necessary working hours in relation to the needs of the business.

This is not a junior role and requires independent, methodical self – disciplined, The suitable candidate must be able to think on their feet, and mentally adapt quickly. You must be able to work on your own initiative but good communication skills are essential.
