The Role
Full and part time opportunities are available for nursery officers to work at our day nurseries in Ashby, Woodville and Whitwick.
We are looking to recruit highly enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent standards of care for the children.
The Candidate
The successful candidate should have relevant experience of working in a Nursery environment and must possess the following skills:
- Qualified to at least Level 3 in childcare or a related subject.
- Demonstrable experience working with children from birth to 5 years.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use IT and produce accurate paperwork.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding & equalities policies and procedures.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to prove commitment to maintaining high outcomes for children while at the same time providing a fun environment for them.
- Ability to build a good rapport with children and parents alike; keeping up to date with observations, a flexible attitude as the role can, at times take you outside your daily working hours, so a willingness to ensure you do what is needed to get the job done is a must.
