What will I be responsible for?
As an Accounts Assistant, you will take on varied role covering the following responsibilities:
- Opening post, barcoding, scanning and sorting invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Cross check paperwork for Customer credit applications
- Filing Supplier/Customer master data paperwork
- Check employee expense claims
- Check employee Barclaycard statements
- Send Sales Ledger invoices and statements
- Clear Intra company invoices
- Complete write offs on a monthly basis
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with proven experience working within a similar role, ideally supporting operational site(s). You will also require:
- Working knowledge of MS Office Word & Excel.
- Accuracy, with attention to detail.
- Ability to challenge and influence.
- Organisational and planning.
- Qualified / working towards / desire to achieve AAT or equivalent.
- Waste Industry experience would be advantageous.
