Do you have previous experience delivering Learning for All technical training and learning solutions within the financial services sector?

GP Strategies Ltd (GPSL) is looking to recruit a Learning for All Deliverer / Trainer to join their team. Although you will be home based this role requires regular national and international travel where you will be working on customer sites. GPSL supports organisations in improving their ability to service their customers’ needs through innovative and creative training interventions, consulting, and business improvement solutions.

You will be responsible for delivering Learning for All programmes nationally and internationally for one of GP’s global accounts.

As a Learning for All Deliverer / Trainer – Leadership your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Delivering / facilitating training and development classes on a national and international basis to meet the stated objectives of each course within the Learning for All curriculums aligning these to business goals and needs.
  • Managing time effectively in order to plan, organise and deliver learning programmes in a timely manner, delivering course objectives in line with class timetables.
  • Maintaining and developing Subject Matter Expertise in specified fields (Leadership & Management skills plus Professional/Personal Skills capabilities) to a professional standard.
  • Engaging fully with the wider Financial Services Delivery Team in order to maximize delivery capability across the wider group.
  • Providing support and expertise to the design & development of new programs where required.
  • Ensuring that all trainings are effectively and efficiently evaluated using the appropriate documentation / systems; using this this information you will seek to improve personal and course effectiveness.
  • Evaluating training and development programs, assessing the quality & relevance of material being delivered. Provide feedback to the course owners on improvements that can be made.
  • Building constructive and value adding relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Resolve any issues associated with delivery to client group, ensuring appropriate stakeholders identify and take required steps.

An ideal Learning for All Deliverer / Trainer – Leadership   will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have experience of delivering Leadership and Management training courses within a Financial Services environment. You will also have excellent facilitation, training & presentation skills used to deliver to audiences at all levels.
  • You will have excellent written & verbal communication skills and an ability to challenge and facilitate discussions.
  • An appreciation of the core activities of Performance Management, People Leadership, Coaching & Communication is essential along with practical experience working with corporate / commercial clients & current market awareness.
  • In addition, you will have excellent time management and organisational skills with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change. You will also be an effective team worker with strong interpersonal skills and good stakeholder management awareness.
  • Possessing line management experience within a financial services environment, knowledge of learning design strategies and awareness of virtual delivery is advantageous for this role however not essential.

If you have any experience in psychometric testing and profiling e.g. NBTI, Insight and DISC that would be desirable.

Due to the fact that this role is home based, nationally, travel to various sites and staying away from home will be expected as well as the need for you to be a car owner / driver.   There will also be a need for international travel from time to time.
