Title: Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Employment Status: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £75,000 GBP per annum + car, pension, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor for a well-established and expanding New Build and Ground Work contractor based in Surrey and working within the South East. You would be a major part of the team and answer directly to the Managing Director.

What will this role involve?
* The varied work load includes new-builds; RC frames and ground works
* Financial monitoring and reporting of projects assigned
* Assisting and establishing suitable construction contracts with clients to suit procurement needs
* Preparation of financial statements in respect to projects assigned
* Ensuring proper administration of the Contract requirements
* Assist with completion of account
* Gather and collate records of all work done
* Assist with payment authorisation of subcontractors
* Ensure prompt submission of invoices and applications for payment
* Assist in the Business Development process in producing information for PQQs and Tenders in relation to the project deliverable to the client and the project deliverable requirement to the business
* Develop the team though training and mentoring
* Contribute to the formulation of the monthly financial reports, both internal management accounts and external applications for payment
