Mechanic Inspector Apprenticeship (ref 39190)

You will attend college throughout this 4 year apprenticeship and achieve an SVQ Level 2 & 3 in Engineering in addition to a National certificate and a Higher National certificate in Aeronautical Engineering. From your second year on wards, you will gain engineering experience at Prestwick Service Center where you will work directly on the shop floor and learn your trade.

You will have (or will be expecting to achieve) a minimum of National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths, Physics and English. It is also ideal if you have studied a relevant practical subject. You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to demonstrate basic mechanical skills and a keen interest in engineering and mechanics.

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you will have (or will be expecting to achieve) Highers (or equivalent) in Maths, English and a relevant business subject. You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate these.
