We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified Actuary. Join us as a Senior Manager and you will be leading a team who are responsible for producing capital requirements for the General Insurance business. This is a high profile role involving interactions with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Chief Actuary, Finance Director and PRA.
In leading a team of actuaries you'll have a role that matters, delivering key capital outputs such as SCR and capital forecasts, you'll hold responsibility for the maintenance of capital models (Igloo) and economic scenario generators, you'll deliver regulatory reports such as QRTs while contributing to and setting modelling assumptions and methodologies. You'll also be involved in model validation activities and liaise with key stakeholders such as the Chief Actuary, Head of GI Actuarial, Head of Modelling, Capital Reporting and you will represent Lloyds Banking Group as a subject matter expert in discussions with the PRA.
Given the requirements of this role it is essential you are a qualified Actuary with a high level of technical skill in core actuarial, solvency and capital areas with significant experience in General Insurance businesses and products. You'll need a background in delivering quality model outputs to challenging timescales and be able to communicate technical detail to specialists and non-specialist stakeholders.
Ideally you will come from a strong Solvency II background with experience in ICA/SCR calculations, particularly using simulation aggregation techniques and proxy modelling.
