This local Shared Service Centre operating for a Global Japanese trading company is looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual who has previous PA or office management experience. Supporting the Directors / senior management team in their efforts to reach organisation targets and deliver strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Directors/Managers in a PA role, dealing with the day-to-day running of the business. They will need to be proficient in all general office skills including IT skills (full experience of Microsoft package is essential) and other PA skills. The ability to work to strict deadlines is essential.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Project management including conducting research for various projects.
- Diary management for Directors and Managers including booking meetings, collating material, organising refreshments, minute taking, meet/greet visitors to the office.
- Travel booking arrangements.
- General office management tasks.
- HR admin support.
- Management of company intranet site.

Person specification:
- Able to use initiative, be resourceful and proactive whilst following instructions.
- Self-motivated, professional and able to communicate at all levels.
- Thorough understanding of confidentiality issues.
- Attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
- Advanced (preferable) or intermediate skills in MS office package.
- Education requirement is a minimum of GCSE A -C in Maths and English or equivalent

Hours of work are:
Non-peak Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Peak (last working day and first four working days of the month) Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Working Bank Holidays included.
