Allpay has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint and Application Support Specialist to join their team based in Herefordshire. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.

We are now recruiting for an experienced SharePoint and Application Support Specialist to join our Application Support Team, based in our Herefordshire Head Office. In this role, you will manage the SharePoint system, ensuring the platform allows our growing employee base of over 300 people the necessary tools to provide a first class service to over 1000 clients, a list that is constantly and consistently growing.

What you will be doing as our SharePoint and Application Support Specialist:

- Providing the principal source of IT Services’ knowledge and expertise, primarily for SharePoint, but will also need to build a good understanding of other key business systems;

- Leading the transition of SharePoint from 2007 to 2016;

- Supporting the full spectrum of SharePoint activities, particularly design, security, automation, resilience, facilitating governance, performance tuning, solution deployment and administration;

- Training and supporting the business users in their day to day involvement in SharePoint sites.

What are we looking for in our SharePoint and Application Support Specialist:

- Proven experience working with SharePoint 2007 and 2013;

- Detailed understanding of Active Directory and SharePoint interfacing;

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to a variety of stakeholders throughout the business;

- Experience of working in a fast paced, demanding environment with changing priorities;

Previous experience of working through an upgrade of SharePoint, including training internal customers on new functionality, would be beneficial.
