Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience

Our Client, in Leighton Buzzard, is the sole supplier of galleys and trolley compartments for the Airbus A350. Their business is expanding and ramping up as the new aircraft enters production and with the impact of this programme alone means that production rates will increase from typically one ship-set per month to 13 per month. This will be sustained for at least the next ten years, with further programmes expecting to be added to the portfolio. If you want to be part of a major strategic programme, then this could be the opportunity for you.

They are looking for a Program Manager to join them where you will be responsible for program managing all aspects of the A350 gallery Product lifecycle. You will support cross-functional clients and multiple business disciplines whilst leading complex projects.

The role also involves the following:
•    Program managing a new product introduction with multiple projects running concurrently and within a matrix organisations
•    Liaising with internal departments to ensure that customer requests and deadlines are achieved under budget
•    Generating a strong focus within the team on customer relationships
•    Producing quotations
•    Tracking the financial performance of the products and being part of the team to improve its financial contributions to the business

As the successful candidate, you will have the following:
•    HND or Degree in a technical discipline 
•    Previous experience of working with a complex product or program
•    Experience of running cross functional programmes with strong programme management skills in a matrix environment
•    APMP would be preferred
•    Knowledge of NPI product lifecycle – JDP, PDR, CDR, FAI
•    Good planning skills, and experience of Microsoft Project or Primavera
•    High focus on customer satisfaction with a good understanding of customer needs and requirements
•    Ability to think “outside the box”
