Financial Controller

Summary of the role

Bristol Grammar School are looking for a qualified Accountant to undertake the role of Financial Controller for the School and its Trading Subsidiary. The candidate must possess strong technical accounting skills in order to prepare reconciliations, control accounts, Monthly Management Accounts, Annual Statutory Accounts, Budgets and Cash flow Forecasts. This is very much a hands on role, experience of Charity and Fund Accounting will be an advantage and a good working knowledge of VAT, PAYE and NI is essential.

In addition to the accounting aspects of the role the successful candidate will be required to write short reports and commentaries and day to day liaison with other colleagues across the whole school to provide help and support in budgetary and other accounting matters.
