My client, a successful service provider who operate on an international scale, are seeking to appoint a Finance Administrator to join their busy team at their Head Office in Exeter.
This opportunity is tailored for an individual who has experience of working in an accounts based role, ideally dealing with a high-volume workload.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will provide invaluable assistance to the accounts team as part of the purchase ledger function.
Main Duties:
- Assisting with the monthly payment run.
- To provide support and assistance for the Accounts Payable function
- Sales ledger
- Provide crucial assistance to your colleagues with monthly VAT returns
- Maintain all supplier accounts.
- Bank reconciliations
- To ensure all expenses from travel are received and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure month end procedures and reports are executed in a timely manner
- Dealing with any queries that may arise
- Undertake any other duties as directed by the Finance Director
In order to be considered you must have:
- Previous demonstrable experience within a finance team, including purchase ledger duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage
