Typical Duties
Working for one of the UK's leading Facilities Services Providers. The role is in support of the Commercial Management team responsible for contracts worth in excess of GBP20M, Providing a Total Facilities Management service. The work will cover a variety of establishments throughout the UK and will involve some travel.
You will ideally be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and be full conversant with contractual documents, Specialist Sub-Contractors, contract implementation & negotiation, tender preparation, Valuations, Variations, Cost control, applications for payment as well as a good understanding of general H&S procedures.
Day to day support of Assistant Commercial Managers who will need directions on specific contracture matters such as submission of interim and final accounts submission in line with period cut-off dates, provide assistance in the preparation of budget estimates for works that fall within the contract, chasing payment certificates and outstanding payments etc.
Your main focus will revolve around the client, the contract needs and the legal and financial benefits of the company, review all contractual documents, Negotiate all contractual agreements with the client, make representation to client for any alterations or changes, Preparation of subcontract documents & negotiations together with performance feedback, financial and contractual reviews and reporting, liaising with the client on all contract delivery and financial matters, make sure the company are operating with contractual agreement financially, technically and within company QA procedures. Support Contract delivery team from concept to completion.
Remuneration Package
Annual Basic Salary To GBP50,000 (subject to skills, qualifications and experience) for a 40 Hr/wk Mon - Fri, 33 days Holidays (Inclusive) with option to buy/sell up to 5 days, Company Pension Scheme Membership match up to 6%, Life assurance - 3 x salary or 4 x if member of the pension, Childcare voucher salary-sacrifice scheme, Free Parking
