Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and supportive Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Woundcare arena & Vitamin Deficiency caused by alcoholism. As a Key Account Manager you will be working with a top performing UK commercial team promoting a range of long standing and new specialist Pharmaceutical products. This is a fixed term contract for approx. 12 months to cover maternity leave and will be working across the East of England - M1 corridor: Nottingham to Leeds, Hull, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire and Bradford.
Essential Requirements:
Current or recent Secondary Care sales experience.
Relevant therapy area experience would be advantageous.
Advanced selling skills.
ABPI qualification.
Excellent persuasive presentation skills.
Ability to work as a team and share best practice.
Territory knowledge.
Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas.
Above average knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Project Management.
Ability to analysis and interpret sales data.
To possess a full valid UK drivers licence at all times and to notify the company immediately of any offences or accumulation of penalty points.
Role Responsibilities:
Achieve sales and activity targets as set by the company through effective planning and implementation of strategic plans.
Keep records of customer contacts and all relevant customer information in the CRM system up to date.
Understand clinical and management priorities on the relevant territory.
Maintain up to date knowledge of products and therapy areas.
Understand and remain updated on the NHS environment both at a national and local level.
To be fully conversant with current marketing strategies and initiatives.
Organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings.
Capitalise on business opportunities and provide value added services to customers.
Achieve commercially positive formulary, guidelines and protocol inclusion for promoted products in agreed accounts.
To compile, review, monitor performance against a strategic business plan.
Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and local KOLs.
To provide the Manager with accurate and timely reports.
Build and maintain relationships in key accounts to safe guard and grow business.
Ensure all company expenditure on territory is accurately monitored within budget and expense forms are completed, approved and submitted within the agreed deadlines.
Liaising with Territory team members to build relationships, share information and generate business.
Liaising with the Clinical Partnership team to streamline activities in territory.
Deal with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Maintain company property to the highest standard.
Adhere to the ABPI code of conduct without exception.
To act at all times within the terms and conditions of your contract of employment.
