Site Project Manager
Komplete Group are working alongside a leading organization within the Rolling Stock industry who are looking to recruit a Site Project Manager to work on an 18 month contract.
Responsibilities:
To ensure the contractor has the required site access/egress (including acceptance of method statements) and is key point of liaison with the depot.
Manages day to day issues and mitigates delay risk.
Delivery of Works program.
Responsible for works acceptance sign off following approval from the Engineering Manager.
Key point of contact for the Contractors named key person (NEC requirement).
Ensures the Employers (GA) costs are aligned to the Works information/delivery and authorises milestone payments.
Acceptance/rejection of proposed sub-contractors and sub-contract conditions.
Assesses and controls contract variations (compensation events).
Define project deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery. Responsibility for input and directives to initiate from the bid process through to project closure.
To ensure that the project plan contains clear milestone deliverable aligned with the contracted agreement.
Depot operations as well as construction works experience required.
To ensure work is carried out to quality standards.
Work closely with customer management to understand the business requirement for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.
To ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards and legal requirements.
To conduct project presentations and compile reports.
Degree or equivalent education (Engineering/Commercial preferable), or suitable experience in project management.
In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to provide references of sufficient quality, and a check-able work history detailing the last 3 years.
