Senior Ecologist, Birmingham - Award-Winning Environmental Consultancy.
Zodiac Recruitment are in partnership with a UK established, award-winning environmental consultancy in their search to employ a skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist within their Birmingham office.
The main purposes of this appointment will be to:
• Manage an expanding West Midlands ecology workload.
• Grow and manage a team of Ecologists within the Birmingham office (support provided from Gloucestershire and Cheshire teams).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Ecologist to come into an already successful company, and build your own team within the West Midlands. You will be provided with a healthy workload (therefore business development experience isn't essential) and support from neighbouring ecology teams in Cheshire and Gloucestershire.
Applicants sought after typically will have 5 years or more ecological consultancy experience and ideally hold a Class 1 or 2 Bat survey licence. Other EPS licences will be accepted, coupled with a Full/Chartered CIEEM status and full UK driving licence.
Whereas business development experience isn't required for this role, it is essential that candidates hold experience in managing a team of ecologists.
Salary - GBP30,000 to GBP38,000 + Benefits.
