Short Term Contract
Class 2 Driver
I am currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work in the Macclesfield area, East Cheshire. This is a temporary on-going assignment working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 3pm as and when needed (traffic depending). Full training will be provided and a full Health and Safety induction will take place, as well as regular testing's of the vehicles to comply with all DVLA standards.
Daily Duties:
-Drive a Class 2 vehicle containing refuse and recycling material
-Carry up to 3 colleagues who shall be lifting the waste into the Class 2 vehicle
-Stop and restart the vehicle once a collection has been made from the appropriate point
-Unload the vehicle at one of many recycling points and then return the vehicle to the yard
-Carry out various Health and Safety checks on the vehicle and comply with all legal regulations
-Follow all road safety and adhere to the Highway Code at all times
Candidates Must:
-Hold a current Class 2 driving Licence and up to date CPC
-Have experience in driving a Class 2 vehicle
-Be able to work from 7am in the Macclesfield area
-Be able to start ASAP
Insurance documents state that the candidates shall have no more than 6 points on their licence and this is a requirement from the end client.
Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm (approx finish time).
Pay rate GBP9.91
